         From May 31 to June 1, 2022, Yongning’er Group Company successfully held its annual series of events commemorating the “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day” at its two major bases in Xiaoshan and Anji. This year’s series of activities comprised five key components: a large-scale signature campaign involving one thousand people to raise fire safety awareness; photo exhibitions titled “An Unforgettable Past,” “Fire Is More Fierce Than a Tiger—Prevention Is the Key,” and “Building the Four Capabilities for Fire Safety”; open public lectures on fire safety; fire escape drills; and simulated firefighting exercises. Fully leveraging the theme of the 21st National Safety Production Month—“Comply with the Law on Safety Production and Be the First Person Responsible”—this series of activities further strengthened the enterprises’ principal responsibility, enhanced fire safety awareness among all employees, fostered a mindset of preparedness even in times of apparent stability, and promoted fire prevention and disaster reduction. Through concrete actions, the company created a safe and stable operational environment in preparation for the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Starting with an analysis of several recent fire accidents across the country, he elaborated on the “three focuses and three musts” for safe production and the theme of the 21st National Safety Production Month, emphasizing that managers at all levels must further cultivate a sense of vigilance and earnestly fulfill their responsibilities in safety production management. He provided detailed explanations on common fire knowledge and prevention measures, the development of the “four capabilities” for fire safety, the division of roles and responsibilities within the company’s emergency fire response task force, and fire-fighting plans. These explanations laid out a clear roadmap for further strengthening Yongning’er Group’s fire safety foundation and called upon all employees to “become fire prevention advocates and strive to be safety-conscious individuals.” Members of the company’s emergency response task force demonstrated and explained the proper use of firefighting equipment and relevant precautions. Additionally, instructors from the Xiaoshan Liujin Fire Training Institution specifically shared skills related to fire escape and evacuation. This training played a crucial role in reinforcing, enhancing, and promoting participants’ fire safety awareness, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the company’s fire safety situation, and improving their abilities in fire suppression, evacuation, and emergency response.

At 3:10 p.m. on June 1, the ceremony for presenting appointment letters to the “Commander-in-Chief” and “Deputy Commander-in-Chief” of the Yongning’er Group’s 2022 “Fire Emergency Response Task Force” was held in the headquarters’ multimedia conference hall. Gao Yifeng, General Manager of the Four-Way Stretch Division at the Xiaoshan Base, and others presented the appointment letters to the “Commander-in-Chief” and “Deputy Commander-in-Chief,” respectively. Zhao Weidong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, presided over the ceremony and conveyed relevant instructions from Chairman Li Yongshui, urging all task force commanders to uphold a spirit of dedication, love their jobs, remain loyal to the company, and not only serve as competent “managers” responsible for fire prevention and disaster reduction but also bravely step forward as “fighters” in fire prevention and disaster relief. At 3:40 p.m. on June 1, 2022, the trainees who were attending the public safety fire training course quickly wetted their folded gauze masks with water upon hearing the instructor’s command “Evacuate,” then covered their mouths and noses, bent over and held onto the wall, and successfully escaped through the smoke-filled area.

Yongning’er Group Successfully Conducts Simulated Real-World Firefighting Exercise for “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day”

At 3:50 p.m. on June 1, 2022, eight “fire emergency response assault team members” from the Yongning’er Group headquarters, clad in firefighting uniforms and wearing firefighting helmets, responded promptly to the commander’s order—“Ignite! Extinguish!”—and swiftly launched into action like arrows released from a bow. Skillfully operating fire extinguishers and water hoses, they completed the firefighting mission with lightning speed and remarkable efficiency. The live-fire simulation exercise for “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day,” which was attended by more than 100 employees from key firefighting positions as well as management personnel, concluded smoothly.
