On December 13, 2024, the first phase of the Lean Management Project—“Setting Benchmarks and Establishing Standards”—at the Anji Base of Yongning’er Group, organized by Anji Yongning’er Textile Co., Ltd., successfully completed the acceptance inspection of all 6S benchmark areas!
On-site acceptance
On the morning of December 13, a judging panel—led by Li Yongmao, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Anji Base—and composed of base leaders and relevant production directors—conducted an on-site acceptance and evaluation of the 15 6S benchmark zones. The persons in charge of the benchmark zones and their supervisors accompanied the panel on the tour.

Wherever the judging panel and relevant leaders went, they were consistently struck by fresh insights and new perspectives. Each benchmark area showcased remarkable transformations. The signage for each zone and item was clear and concise, making everything instantly legible at a glance; tools and spare parts were neatly organized and arranged in perfect order; and every minute detail had been meticulously refined... In each of these improvements, one could clearly sense the collective wisdom of both supervisors and employees. The supervisors from the benchmark areas provided thorough introductions and demonstrations of their region’s specific improvement measures and outstanding achievements. While highly praising the results and commending the distinctive features, the judging panel and relevant leaders also offered more refined suggestions for further enhancement and outlined promising directions for future development.

Awards Ceremony
In the afternoon, the first-phase summary and recognition conference for establishing benchmark 6S zones was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Anji Administrative Building. Attending the meeting were the Executive Deputy General Manager of Administration, the Production Director, the Political Commissar, the Workshop Directors, and heads of various departments at the Anji Base. The conference was chaired by Mr. Lei Xiaogang from Shenzhen Lizheng Consulting Firm.

The first item on the awards ceremony: Regional achievement reports.
The mentors from the 15 benchmark 6S zones each shared their experiences, best practices, and insights gained during the promotion of 6S management—from the background behind the initiative and the implementation plan to the actual execution process and the presentation of results. Through these compelling presentations of achievements, we could clearly see the hard work everyone had put in over the past four months. Equally encouraging was the realization that improvement efforts were no longer solely the responsibility of mentors and workshop supervisors; employees had actively joined in, collaboratively brainstorming better improvement measures. Many of the achievements actually stemmed from employees’ own ideas. This company-wide participation in improvement initiatives undoubtedly provides a strong foundation for sustaining these gains in the future.
The second item on the awards ceremony agenda: The advisor representative delivers a stage summary report.
Subsequently, Teacher Lei from Shenzhen Lizheng Consulting Agency delivered a summary report on the current phase of work. The report both acknowledged the achievements made by the 15 6S benchmark zones and highlighted existing shortcomings as well as areas for improvement. It also provided a brief overview of the upcoming work arrangements.

The third item of the commendation ceremony: unveiling of the 6S benchmark areas and award presentation ceremony.
After on-site acceptance review and explanation-based scoring, all 15 sample areas of Yongning’er Textile have successfully passed the acceptance inspection. At the same time, congratulations to the “35kV Distribution Room” for winning first place in the 6S benchmark area; congratulations to the “Warping Section No. 2, Machines No. 4–6” for securing second place in the 6S benchmark area; and congratulations to the “Spinning Section No. 1 (No. 1) Office” for taking third place in the 6S benchmark area. The awards were presented by Li Yongmao, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Anji Base Administration; Huang Ming’an, General Manager of the Spandex Branch; and Xu Weiqing, General Manager of the Preparation Branch.

The fourth item on the awards ceremony: Leaders’ concluding remarks and messages.
