From May 31 to June 1, 2023, Yongning’er Group Company successfully held its annual series of events commemorating the “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day” at its two major bases in Xiaoshan and Anji. This year’s series of activities comprised five key components: a large-scale signature campaign involving one thousand people to raise fire safety awareness; photo exhibitions titled “An Unforgettable Past,” “Fire Is More Fierce Than a Tiger—Prevention Is the Key,” and “Building the Four Capabilities for Fire Safety”; open public lectures on fire safety; fire escape drills; and live-fire simulation exercises for firefighting. Fully leveraging the theme of the 22nd National Safety Production Month—“Everyone Talks About Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies”—this series of activities further strengthened the enterprises’ principal responsibility, enhanced the fire safety awareness of all employees, fostered a mindset of preparedness even in times of apparent calm, and actively contributed to creating a safe and stable production and business environment aimed at “ensuring the Asian Games and promoting development.” Thanks to thorough preparation, well-organized implementation, and strong attention from cadres at all levels, the event successfully mobilized and engaged every employee, achieving the desired outcomes.

Yongning’er Group’s Public Open Course on Fire Safety Training for “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day” Kicks Off

           At 1:30 p.m. on May 31, 2023, the third event in Yongning’er Group’s series of activities commemorating “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day”—an open public training session on fire safety—was held, led by Zhao Weidong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Group. Starting with an analysis of several recent fire accidents across the country, he elaborated on the “three focuses and three musts” for safe production and the theme of the 22nd National Safe Production Month, emphasizing that managers at all levels must further cultivate a sense of vigilance and earnestly fulfill their responsibilities in safety management. He provided detailed explanations on common fire knowledge and prevention measures, the development of the “four capabilities” for fire safety, the division of roles and responsibilities within the company’s emergency fire response task force, and fire-fighting plans. These explanations laid out a clear roadmap for further strengthening Yongning’er Group’s fire safety foundation and called upon all employees to take their posts seriously and actively participate in the campaign “Everyone is a fire-prevention officer; everyone strives to be a safety advocate.” Instructor Xu from the Xiaoshan Liujin Fire Training Institution specifically demonstrated skills such as fire escape techniques. This training session played a crucial role in reinforcing, enhancing, and promoting participants’ fire safety awareness, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the company’s fire safety situation, and improving their ability to handle fire emergencies and evacuate safely.

At 3:10 p.m. on May 31, the ceremony for presenting appointment letters to the “Commander-in-Chief” and “Deputy Commander-in-Chief” of the Yongning Group’s 2023 “Fire Emergency Response Task Force” was held in the headquarters’ multimedia conference hall. Zhao Weidong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Group Company, presented the appointment letters to the “Commander-in-Chief” and “Deputy Commander-in-Chief” and conveyed relevant instructions from Chairman Li Yongshui. He urged all task force commanders to uphold the spirit of dedication, love their jobs and commit themselves wholeheartedly to the company. They must not only serve as competent “managers” responsible for fire prevention and disaster reduction but also bravely step forward as “fighters” in fire prevention and disaster relief efforts. When confronted with emergencies such as fire hazards or production safety incidents, they should rise to the occasion, demonstrating the qualities of being “promptly available upon call, ready to fight upon arrival, and certain to win in battle.” They should strive to become the “guardian angels” protecting the lives of employees and the company’s assets, thereby ensuring the company’s safe and sustainable development.

Yongning’er Group Holds Fire Escape Drill on “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day”

           At 3:40 p.m. on May 31, 2023, the participants in the public fire safety training course quickly covered their mouths and noses according to evacuation guidelines, bent over and held onto the wall, and successfully escaped through the smoke after hearing the fire alarm.

Yongning’er Group Successfully Holds a Simulated Firefighting and Disaster Reduction Drill for “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day”

           At 3:50 p.m. on May 31, 2023, eight “fire emergency response assault team members” from the Yongning’er Group headquarters, clad in firefighting uniforms and wearing firefighting helmets, responded promptly to the commander’s command—“Ignite! Extinguish!”—and swiftly launched into action like arrows released from a bow. They skillfully operated fire extinguishers and water hoses, completing the firefighting mission with lightning speed and remarkable efficiency. The live-fire simulation exercise for “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day,” which was observed by more than 100 employees from key firefighting positions as well as operational and management personnel, concluded successfully.
