At the Anji base of Yongning’er Group, located in the Tianzi Lake Modern Industrial Park in Anji County, Huzhou City, the production workshops buzz with the steady hum of machinery, presenting a scene of bustling activity. Various types of vehicles continuously shuttle back and forth, transporting fabrics in an orderly and well-organized manner. On July 20, Yongning’er Group held its 2023 First-Half Business Performance Conference in grand style at the Anji base. At 8:28 a.m., the conference was solemnly opened in the main conference hall of the administrative office building at the Anji base. Representatives from the group company’s functional management team, along with 35 sub- and subsidiary companies (business entities) from the two major bases—Xiaoshan and Anji—covering various industrial sectors, as well as selected outstanding frontline employees, totaling 312 elite participants from all walks of life, gathered together. Representing the group company’s 2,200 employees, they reviewed the first half-year’s work, shared their achievements, recognized outstanding individuals who had emerged, and rekindled their motivation for future endeavors. With this renewed spirit, they are poised to set off once again in the second half of the year and strive for even greater accomplishments!

Dr. Li Yongshui, Chairman of the Board, delivered a keynote work report titled “Full-Staff Participation, Continuous Improvement, and Pursuit of Perfection.” The conference was chaired by Zhao Weidong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Group Company.

          In his report, Chairman Li Yongshui objectively analyzed the international and domestic economic situations as well as industry trends. He comprehensively reviewed and summarized Yongning’er’s development strategies and initiatives—designed to meet changing circumstances and the demands of the times—and the phased achievements it has attained in overcoming challenges and breaking through barriers.

Director Li pointed out that in the first half of the year, the global situation underwent dramatic and profound changes, the world economy struggled to recover, and global development suffered serious setbacks. Domestically, demand remained sluggish, and the economic situation was severe and complex. Faced with unprecedented pressures and challenges, all Yongninger employees maintained strategic composure, took high-quality development as the main thread, diligently honed their internal management and operational capabilities, and wholeheartedly focused on strengthening, supplementing, and extending industrial chains. They pooled their efforts on product transformation and upgrading, braved difficulties, dared to take on challenges, and pursued practical and steady progress. As a result, the group company achieved the valuable outcome of balancing production and sales and operating steadily—a feat that was truly hard-won. With concrete actions, all Yongninger employees have written a remarkable chapter of struggle that lives up to the times!

         While acknowledging the achievements made, Chairman Li also pointed out the company’s existing shortcomings and gaps, outlined the Group’s guiding principles for overall business operations in the second half of the year, and elaborated on the key priorities for each industrial cluster and business unit in the coming months. In particular, regarding this conference’s theme—“Full-Staff Participation, Continuous Improvement, and Pursuit of Perfection”—Chairman Li emphasized that high-level lean management is both the prerequisite and the guarantee for high-quality development and the construction of digital factories. Full-staff participation is the core and foundation for the company’s implementation of its lean management strategy; continuous improvement is the methodology and step-by-step approach for carrying out lean management; and the pursuit of perfection is the attitude and professional ethos that must be embodied in the implementation of lean management.

Director Li pointed out that over the next five to ten years, we must proceed step by step, moving from simple to complex: first building lean workshops, then advancing toward lean factories, lean departments, and ultimately a lean company. Starting now, we must elevate “lean management” to the level of corporate will and integrate it into our company’s strategic development plan.

Prioritize quality to ensure survival and enable high-quality products to take root and thrive. Rely on sales volume to win the market, vigorously expand sales and reduce inventory, while accelerating our entry into overseas markets—provided that our market sales scale remains aligned with production capacity. Base compensation on performance outcomes, safeguard the fundamental profitability of our Taiwan-based operations, optimize the evaluation and assessment mechanisms, and unlock employees’ full potential for even greater performance improvements.

Around 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2023, just after the conclusion of the Yongning’er Group’s first-half business conference, a thrilling tug-of-war competition between the management teams from the Xiaoshan and Anji bases once again unfolded, delivering an electrifying spectacle of intense rivalry. The sweltering heat was accompanied by waves of cheering and shouts of “Come on!” as athletes from both sides focused their energy, fought bravely, and battled fiercely—several times the match reached a deadlock, leaving the outcome utterly uncertain. While the winner of the tug-of-war no longer mattered, what truly mattered was that the competition showcased Yongning’er employees’ team spirit of “self-reliance and unyielding perseverance, united in purpose and strength.” It highlighted their courage and boldness in striving to achieve the year’s business targets, adding a positive and energetic atmosphere of “hard work, relentless pursuit, and continuous self-improvement” to the half-year conference.
