On the afternoon of July 18, 2023, Zhu Zhangsheng, Executive Vice Chairman of the “Three Associations” of Zhejiang Province (the Provincial Entrepreneurs Association, the Enterprise Federation, and the Industrial Economy Federation), led a delegation to visit the headquarters of Yongning’er Group Co., Ltd. in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, for a research visit.

Li Yongshui, Chairman of Yongning’er Group Corporation, and others introduced the company’s basic information, Chairman Li’s personal entrepreneurial journey, and the current status of the company’s industrial development.

Yongning’er was founded in 1990 with a capital of 15,000 yuan and six employees. Over the past thirty-odd years, the company has persevered through hard work and continuous advancement, growing from a small workshop into a modern private enterprise group that is industry-leading in textiles and closely integrated with the textile value chain—covering chemical fiber raw materials, chemical fiber weaving, home textile fabrics, medical textile care products, and other related fields. The company combines industry, trade, and science and technology, and its market shares in the three fabric categories—four-way stretch fabric, blackout fabric, and bonded interlining—have all ranked among the top three nationwide in their respective industries. Yongning’er currently operates two major production bases in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, and Anji, Huzhou, employing over 2,300 people and achieving an annual business scale of 2.5 billion RMB. During the visit, Mr. Li also specially introduced to the guests Yongning’er’s corporate culture of “focus, dedication, and continuous self-improvement,” its “second boss” management model for professional managers, and its successful exploration of “team learning,” driven by the belief that “knowledge changes destiny and knowledge builds careers.”

Looking back on three decades of entrepreneurial journey, most of the companies that started out together with us have now fallen by the wayside. Yet Yongning Er has persevered through thick and thin—withstanding dramatic shifts in the business environment, industry reshuffling, and financing challenges such as joint and mutual guarantees. Despite these trials, it has ultimately stood strong and thrived to this day, building a complete industrial chain that spans from textile raw materials and grey fabric weaving all the way to washing and finishing. This journey embodies the spirit of “pressing forward with determination and living up to the times.” As Yongning Er embarks on a new journey into its “second thirty years,” it will continue to expand overseas along the Belt and Road Initiative, striving to become an industry leader that enjoys a prestigious position, boasts robust corporate strength, and sets the gold standard in management.

Zhu Zhangsheng expressed his appreciation for Yongning’er Group’s efforts in “strengthening, supplementing, and extending the industrial chain” as well as its commitment to specialized industrial development. He also sincerely praised Chairman Li’s personal journey of hard work and perseverance. “Chairman Li Yongshui is an outstanding representative of Zhejiang entrepreneurs, and his entrepreneurial story is truly inspiring,” said Zhu Zhangsheng. He hopes that Yongning’er will further expand its overseas markets, strengthen the cultivation and reserve of professional talent, enhance product research and development innovation, increase product added value, and pursue coordinated growth in both domestic and international trade, continuously scaling up, strengthening, and refining its business.

Chen Shourong, Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Provincial Textile Industry Association, and Jiang Huafēi, Deputy Secretary-General, accompanied the research visit, along with Xia Weinna, Head of the Membership Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Enterprise Confederation. Gao Lifeng, General Manager of Yongning’er Group Co., Ltd., Zhao Weidong, Executive Vice President, Chen Fang, Director of the Finance Department, and Gao Qinmei, Director of the Administrative Office, also accompanied the visit and participated in the exchange.

The summer sun is blazing, and the lush greenery of myriad trees brims with vitality. On July 20, the 2025 First-Half Business Conference of Yongning’er Group was solemnly held at its production base in Anji, Huzhou. The promotional banner announcing the holding of Yongning’er Group’s First-Half Business Conference, displayed on the annex building of the administrative office complex in the Anji Yongning’er Textile Industrial Park, was particularly eye-catching.

At the Business Work Conference held in the first half of 2025, Chairman Li pointed out that during the first half of the year, the international situation remained turbulent, the global economy struggled to recover, domestic demand contracted, and overcapacity became severe. Faced with unprecedented pressures and challenges, Yongning’er Group demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability, drawing on its 35-year heritage in management, its robust product portfolio, and its deep market experience. With a focus on “adjusting capacity to mitigate risks,” the group decisively implemented production restrictions and inventory reductions, strategically slowing down its growth pace.
