Yongning’er Group’s Public Open Course on Fire Safety Training for “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day” Kicks Off

From May 31 to June 4, 2024, Yongning’er Group and Hangzhou Jiangnan Shijia Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. held the third in a series of events commemorating “June 1 Fire Prevention and Disaster Reduction Day”—an open public lecture on fire safety training. The lecture was delivered by Zhao Weidong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Group’s headquarters in Xiaoshan. Starting with an analysis of several recent fire accidents across the country, he elaborated on the “Three Focuses and Three Musts” for safe production and the theme of the 23rd National Safe Production Month, emphasizing that managers at all levels must further cultivate a sense of vigilance and earnestly fulfill their responsibilities in safety production management. The lecture provided detailed explanations and demonstrations on essential fire knowledge and prevention measures, the development of the “Four Capabilities” for fire safety, proper use of firefighting equipment, fire prevention strategies, and fire escape procedures. It also laid out plans for further strengthening Yongning’er Group’s fire safety foundation and called upon all employees to take their posts seriously and launch the campaign: “Everyone is a fire-prevention officer; everyone strives to be a safety-conscious individual.”

The Anji Base invited fire safety and rescue experts from the Huzhou City Emergency Management Expert Pool to give a special lecture at the company. The lecture covered the causes, classifications, and characteristics of fires, as well as the basic principles and methods for firefighting. Members of the volunteer fire brigade provided detailed instructions on the proper use and precautions for common firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency fire vehicles. Additionally, they simulated the evacuation process in the event of a fire, including how to make an accurate emergency call and how to evacuate quickly and orderly to a safe area, achieving the intended outcomes.

At 3:50 p.m. on May 31, 2024, the Yongning’er Group’s Xiaoshan headquarters and Hangzhou Jiangnan Shijia Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. jointly conducted a simulated, real-world fire-fighting exercise. Eight “fire emergency response assault team members,” clad in firefighting uniforms and wearing firefighting helmets, responded promptly to the commander’s commands—“Ignite! Extinguish!”—and swiftly launched into action like arrows released from a bow. They skillfully operated fire extinguishers and water hoses, completing the fire-extinguishing mission with lightning speed and remarkable efficiency.
